NOTE FOR JUNE 2025: We are not accepting bookings for high teas during the month of June, since our new kitchen is coming online, and we need to get a month of workflow under our belts before we add catering private events back in. Coffee Corner has a beautiful, private room especially for groups! Our exquisite Tea Room can seat up to 12 guests and is available for groups for breakfast and brunch from 8am-1pm daily. Between 2 and 5pm, the room is available as meeting space for an hourly rate with or without catering.
In addition to a private meeting space, we offer fully catered English-style teas with all the trimmings. We offer fine china, delicate silver, antique linens, and tiered plates with an abundance of scones, finger sandwiches, fruit, whipped cream, jam, and more! High tea includes a dedicated member of staff to brew tea for your guests and answer any questions you may have about our custom-blended loose leaf teas. A full English-style tea averages $35 per person (if you add specialty treats like macarons and brownie bites, the cost goes up to around $45/pp). This option is ideal for bridal teas, baby showers, birthdays, graduation celebrations, and mother-daughter events. We can help make your next occasion incredibly special! In order to create a memorable experience for you and your guests, we need a two-week lead time to get a catering quote based on your group size and what you’d like to eat (gluten-free options are also available, so be sure to mention that on the form below if you need GF cookies and sandwiches). We can also work within any budget to create a memorable teatime experience if you aren’t looking for “full English.”
Availability can be checked by filling in the form below. To keep our café available for regular customers and avoid long waits at the front counter, we cannot accommodate large groups in the main dining space. If you have more than six people (including children) in your party, we ask that you book the private room as a matter of courtesy for others. If you are interested in holding an event for more than 12 people, ask us about booking the entire café for an evening! We can host up to 64 people for large events, including rehearsal dinners, receptions, and birthday parties. Our chef can create a fabulous spread for your guests—anything from finger food to a full meal. [Per AL Health Department code, outside food cannot be brought into the café with the exception of a decorated cake from a registered bakery. Thank you!]
